In March, China's ferrosilicon (FeSi) production among 136 domestic smelters under Mysteel's monthly survey increased for the fifth month by another 40,525 tonnes or 8% to 546,748 tonnes, the highest since June 2013. The surveyed smelters' output accounts for almost the country's total.
